About
Molly Olwig Solorzano is a self-taught photographer based in Denver, specializing in artistic portraiture and commercial photography. Originally from St. Louis, she earned her BA in English at Loyola University where she began developing her photographic practice in New Orleans. Later settling in Denver, Solorzano continues to develop her craft while collaborating with inspiring individuals and brands. With a decade of experience in the photo industry, Solorzano crafts story-driven imagery that reflects her deep connection to place and identity.
Much of her inspiration comes from her experiences growing up in the Midwest, studying in the South, and building her life in the Front Range. Her work has been showcased in Vogue Italia’s PhotoVogue and exhibited in art shows in New York City, New Orleans, Denver, and Salt Lake City.
“With the camera itself at the intersection of a moment and the infinite, photography has become my way of engaging with the world—of seeing and being seen, of wrestling with memory and shaping all the above. I hope my work reflects femininity as power, the delicate as unbreakable, and the quiet as deeply expressive. ”
